Board of Directors Election

As required in the Henniker Chamber of Commerce Bylaws, we are notifying all members of the opening of nominations for 2 year term positions of 6 Board Members including: President, President Elect, Treasurer, Secretary and 2 At Large positions.

Persons interested in joining the Board of Directors should present their eligibility in writing via email or mail to the current President Elect, Jerry Gilbert, at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or Henniker Chamber of Commerce, PO Box 885, Henniker, NH 03242 to be added to the ballot for the annual meeting.

Names of nominees will be posted on the website prior to the annual meeting in June. Nominations by Petition can be added within 10 days after posting of nominees with the signature of 15 qualified members of the Henniker Chamber of Commerce.

Henniker Chamber of Commerce Membership

The Henniker Chamber of Commerce is still accepting new memberships. The Henniker Chamber of Commerce's mission is to promote the area and its businesses, promote Henniker's growth & prosperity through membership participation and community leadership, provide educational opportunities to its members and welcome visitors and newcomers.

Membership into the Henniker Chamber provides many networking opportunities. Members will receive recognition as a Chamber Professional on the Chamber website, www.hennikerchamber.org, with a direct link to their business, in newsletters along with other publications. The Henniker Chamber will also keep members up to date with ongoing regulations affecting their business.

Annual Meeting: June 12

The Henniker Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting is on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 6pm in the Great Room, Simon Center at New England College. This event will wrap up our second year of the Henniker Chamber of Commerce incorporation by celebrating our accomplishments, the variety of events sponsored by the Chamber and to thank all of our members for their participation. In addition, Retrieve Technologies will present their video training products and services. Hors d'oeuvre will be served along with a cash bar. In addition to networking, the six Board of Director positions up for a 2 year term position (President, President Elect, Treasurer, Secretary and 2 At Large positions) will be voted on during the meeting with a secret ballot for all of those nominated.
