WOW!! How amazing! Thank you so much to everyone who donated "Local Toys for Local Tots"! We collected all the toys for this year - Nearly 300 were donated!! Also thank you to those who donated money for us to purchase more toys! The Henniker children thank you!
Although the weather was not looking favorable Saturday June 17, 2017, the rain held off and allowed the Henniker Chamber of Commerce versus The Town of Henniker softball game to commence. A great time was had by all who attended. The Town held their one run lead in the Chambers’ final at bat with an amazing catch by Stephanie Costello for the third out. Final score the Town of Henniker 19 and the Henniker Chamber of Commerce 18.
Thanks to all who came out to support this event we raised $400.00 for the Rick Hall Jr. Scholarship. A special thanks to Allan Kingsbury, of Ayer Goss, for umping the game and to Tom Weston, of the Henniker Highway Department and Chad Poland, of Michie Corporation for coaching. The Chamber is already looking forward to next year’s game.

This year’s recipient was Brandon Diaz. In the fall, Brandon will be attending the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in New York. Congratulations Brandon and best of luck!
The Henniker Chamber of Commerce hosted their sixth annual Holiday Business After Hours at Daniel’s Restaurant, on Thursday, December 10, 2015. Over fifty members and guests attended this holiday event. This was a great opportunity to network with other fellow chamber members while enjoying delicious food and drink. Many people brought non-perishable food donations for the Henniker Food Pantry. A monetary donation was given to the Henniker Food Pantry from attendee donations along with the food donations. The Henniker PTA was presented with a donation of $500 from the Henniker Chamber of Commerce for their Playground Fund.

The Henniker Chamber of Commerce’s annual Henniker Community Spring Clean Up Day on Saturday, May 2, 2015 was a huge success. Thank you to all who participated in cleaning up Henniker! A barbeque at the Henniker Community Center followed the clean up efforts with food donated by the Henniker Chamber of Commerce. The Country Spirit Restaurant supplied all the food at cost along with their grill. A thank you from everyone to Rick for doing the cooking along with Paul Sheppard of Davis & Towle Insurance Group.
We hosted our fifth annual Holiday Business After Hours at Daniel’s Restaurant, on Thursday, December 4th. Thank you to all the members and guests that attended this holiday event. This was a great opportunity to enjoy hor d'oeuvres and network with other chamber members. Donations were also collected for the Henniker Food Pantry. The chamber donated $500 to the Henniker PTA playground fund. A new program called "Local Toys for Local Tots" was launched for Henniker children - look for boxes at local retailers in Henniker.

This event concluded the fourth year of the Henniker Chamber of Commerce incorporation. Thank you to all members for their participation. Four Board of Director positions were up for a 2 year term position and were voted on during the meeting.
In addition to the Henniker Chamber Annual Meeting, Michie Corporation opened its doors to NEPCA (New England Concrete Precast Association), customers, vendors, friends, family and the general public to celebrate its 40th Anniversary.

This was a great opportunity to network with other fellow chamber members while enjoying delicious food and drink. Many people brought non-perishable food donations for the Henniker Food Pantry. A total of $245 was raised for the food pantry in additional to all the food donations. The Town of Henniker Azalea Park project was also presented with a donation from the Henniker Chamber for a total of $500.
